Freedom is a responsibility in any group of living feeling human beings. Your freedom is not to hurt others, to let them be hurt, to prolong or ensure suffering. This is the truth of freedom. We are free because we care for others, we are free because we protect others, we are free as individuals because we take the responsibility of what it means to be part of any group of people, a family, a street, a suburb, a town, a city, any type of community.
Freedom is not there to do whatever you please if it restricts the freedom of others to live in peace, to be the best they can be, to love and be loved. For how can you be free if you are not able to do the same.
Freedom is a responsibility to ensure the freedom of others, to be as free as you are, for now and always.
That is true freedom. The ability to decide to care, to decide to be apart of something better, bigger, more important that all our singular lives throughout the history of our species. Your freedom is to be responsible for your actions, for without that, without taking the care, the concern for others, no one will ever be free ever again.
