You can put a price on anything. That’s the lesson of capitalism. What is your health worth? The Insurance company will tell you. What’s your education worth? Student Loans? What’s your kids worth?
Well, lets look at the previous two questions, shall we? How about your life? A place to live, clothes, food, birthdays, presents, dating, love. Oh, we have products, we have apps, we have everything you need to live at a convenient handy price ready for your credit card details.
Everything has a price these days. When people tell you about something you can’t put a price on, just wait until they tell you how much it costs. That’s the system, that’s the program.
Everything costs something. Why do you think they complain about taxes and government spending? Its not about the good it does, its about what it costs to do good for others.
And that is something many can’t abide. If you want something, anything, a helping hand, people to rescue you, save you, it’s got to cost you. That’s the 21st Century New Deal. Tell me I’m wrong.
