When you’re suffering, when you can’t make ends meet, when you’ve just been kicked out because you couldn’t make the latest increased rent payment, it’s really important that you understand that the politicians who did sweet fuck all to help you are human too.
Of course there aren’t rich people in your country paying taxes at a rate that’s equivalent to 10% of the average taxpayer, that isn’t important.
One billion dollars sounds impressive but when’s it’s the equivalent of the average tax bill being a thousand dollars it starts to sound a bit shit.
But that doesn’t matter.
I mean how could it?
What matters is that the absolute cowardly bastards who’d rather do what 30 or 40 Billionaires want than give a shit about the actual millions and millions of individual human beings who they supposedly represent.
It doesn’t matter that people are struggling to get buy but how these supposed leaders feel about their relationship with their long departed mother.
Give me a fucking break.
How about the kids watching their mother cry yet again as they are sleeping in a car for the fourth night in a row after fleeing their abusive dad who’d nearly broken her arm last week?
How about those kids and their relationship with their mum?
How about a few billionaires pay the equivalent of someone paying $30k of tax?
How much care, how much help could we give to those who need it by denying a Billionaire another fucking $100 million dollar yacht?
What the hell am I saying? We know it’s fucked. We know they don’t care. They’d rather spend $50 million making sure Trans people can’t live their lives than pay enough taxes to really protect women and kids.
Fuck them, fuck the politicians and fuck you if you think it’s fine as it is.
I don’t give a flying fuck about you and your mother if you’re in power and do nothing about what needs to be done.
