You often hear people decrying immigration as ‘Dismantling the West”

Which parts?

I mean before immigration there was crime, murder, rape, child abuse, domestic violence, exploitation, war mongering, powerful people swindling governments and people for anything they could.

Are we to believe the West is a haven of peace and prosperity, where suffering and poverty are only recent additions?

Or are they trying to say they don’t like brown people? That they want to go back to the old days, when everyone was white, and no one heard about anything bad that was happening?

Cause we all know that wife beatings, child sexual abuse, all of those features of our long held history were happening, they were just kept quiet, often by the church.

Is that what we should consider a Western Value?

I’m not so sure what you are afraid of is the dismantling of the West, more having to account for what the West actually is, and that would be scary wouldn’t it?
