We’ve all seen the stories, of talented people living on the streets, living rough, but with a musical talent or something that sets them apart, makes people care just that little bit more. And then people do what they do, find them an opportunity, find them connections, help them assimilate into the part of the world that sees their talent and embraces it.

But how often doesn’t that happen?

How often does the talent not translate easily for the cameras?

How many people, with so much to contribute to our symphony of existence, are left out, ignored by the world are large, because they don’t fit into mainstream expectations, can’t manage the networking, the social engineering required to make it in this modern world.

Money wasted is broadcast loudly as a tragedy, profligate, criminal, but human lives, human spirit, each human soul, what if we let them fall without finding out who they are, what they can be, how much they can make our lives, our very existence sing with the light of the universe.

Are they not worth it?

Are they not valuable?

Are you?

Each light in the universe, each soul we encounter, can shine like no other, if we let it.

What a world we might have if we treat each being as our kin, and care for them as such.

Do you think we should?

If it was you?

Waste not, want not, isn’t that the old saying?

Let’s not waste the potential of the universe, lets grasp the dare of every living being we can, and see what can be.
